History

Coen Bakker Deco B.V. is a family business that originated in 1949 and was founded by Coen Bakker in Amsterdam. The company started as a wholesaler of festive and showcase products.

Coen Bakker pioneered throughout all of Europe long ago, went to many trade fairs and gathered a regular group of customers throughout the years. Here, the foundation was laid for the company’s current core values: reliability and service. Many products, images, old cash books etc. from this time were saved. As a token of appreciation and for nostalgic reasons, these items were given a special place in the company.

Kees

Kees Bakker (the son of) was taught the knowhow of the business at an early age. In 1979, Kees became Managing Director of the company. Throughout the years, the company rapidly developed further and focused more and more on the private use of seasonal decorations and Christmas lights. Kees and his wife Joke are still involved in the daily business of the company.

Anna's collection

The company has expanded to become a leading player in seasonal decorations and Christmas lights. Partly due to innovative ideas of the third Bakker generation, the company’s market share in Europe has grown immensely in recent years. The “Anna’s collection” brand is a prime example.

The future of Coen Bakker Deco B.V. is secure with the Bakker family and an enthusiastic group of loyal employees.
